Johan Leenders is not only a third generation arable farmer in the Flevopolder, but he is also a progressive chicken farmer. Together with his mother, he is switching the arable farming branch to organic and has brought a special chicken breed (the Oranjehoen) onto the market. These organic chickens eat the unsaleable remains of arable farming and thus not only become extra tasty, but also close an extra agricultural cycle.
